Elective Learning Options

Electives will be held once a week on Tuesday mornings at the Augusta Rec Center. Beacon Hill Academy electives are al-a-cart, designed to suit to the interests and needs of your family. Our electives are taught by teachers who have experience in the subject they teach, as well as a love for teaching!

Art

Art at Beacon Hill Academy is designed to inspire creativity and appreciation for the beauty of God’s creation across all grade levels, K–12. Students explore art history while learning a variety of artistic techniques and mediums. Through both study and hands-on creation, students develop skills, express ideas, and grow in confidence as young artists.

Music

Music at Beacon Hill Academy introduces students to the richness of a classical music education across all grade levels, K–12. Students explore foundational elements of music while engaging with great composers and works from history. Through listening, learning, and hands-on practice, students develop musical understanding, discipline, and an appreciation for the beauty and order found in music.

Physical Education at Beacon Hill Academy encourages students to develop healthy habits while building confidence through movement and activity. Students are introduced to a variety of exercises, sports, and games, giving them opportunities to try new activities and discover what they enjoy. Through participation and teamwork, students grow in physical fitness, perseverance, and a positive attitude toward lifelong health.

Physical Education
