Allison Weide is a wife to her husband, Jeff, and a proud mother of four daughters—Hayden, Madison, Evelyn, and Vivian. She earned her bachelor’s degree in education from Wichita State University and her master’s degree in ESOL from Emporia State University. She is also LETRS certified. Over the course of her 14-year career in public education, Allison served on multiple leadership and curriculum teams and mentored many new teachers.

Allison has always felt a strong calling from God to teach. After 14 years in public education, she began to feel the Holy Spirit leading her in a new direction. This calling led her family to begin homeschooling, where they spent two years growing and learning together. During that time, they felt led to do more, ultimately stepping out in faith to create Beacon Hill Academy—a faith-based partnership designed to serve and support families in their community.

Alyssa brings a diverse and well-rounded background in education, social services, and family life. While in college, she spent three years working as an after-school program teacher, where she led students in physical activities as well as creative art and craft experiences. Her passion for working with children extends across multiple settings, including schools, foster care, and mental health environments.

Alyssa also has seven years of experience in social services and mental health, where she served as both a receptionist and a social services designee. In addition to her professional experience, Alyssa is an entrepreneur who manages her own small business and oversees social media platforms, with past experience moderating and running additional pages. Alyssa and her husband, Brad, are raising their three children, Aria, Odin, and Egan with a focus on learning, creativity, and strong family values.
